America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves. Abraham Lincoln
| Government | The government has grown so large that it now does more harm than good. We should scale back the size of the goverment to reduce the cost of operating it, and to prevent it from becoming too intrusive in the lives of citizens. |
| Spending | Goverment spending has reached unsustainable levels, and if left unchecked will ultimately ruin our country through a loss of our credit rating, our currency being dropped as the world reserve currency, ridiculously compounding deficits, and a devaluation of our currency (inflation). | Free Market | A free market is a market without economic intervention and regulation by government except to outlaw and prosecute force or fraud. In the marketplace the price of a good or service helps communicate consumer demand to producers and thus directs the allocation of resources toward consumer, as well as investor, satisfaction. In a free market, price is a result of a plethora of voluntary transactions, rather than political decree as in a controlled market. Through free competition between vendors for the provision of products and services, prices tend to decrease, and quality tends to increase. |
| Welfare | The welfare state fails to adequately address the causes of poverty and enslaves those people who rely on it. We need to reform our welfare system so that it doesn’t enable people to endlessly abuse it. |
| Taxes | Unreasonably high taxation is harmful to our country because the money it takes from the people and businesses could be freely spent improving our economy through innovation and used for future investments. |
| Regulation | Excessive regulations on businesses only serve to make our country less competitive in the global market. Many corporations will move their operations overseas to avoid unreasonable regulations, causing both a loss of tax revenue and jobs for American workers. |
| Equality | Nobody should receive special treatment based solely on ethnicity. If we are ever going to end the cycle of victimhood and resentment we need to stop treating people differently based on their skin color. |
| Right to Bear Arms | The ability to own firearms is the mark of a free people. Being able to fight against an injust or oppressive goverment is an important part of ensuring that our country remains a free and open republic. |
